Celebrity Catchphrase CHARITY show celebrities paid upto £5,000.

ITV paid out “up to £5,000” to the celebrities that appeared on Catchphrase’s charity specials, claims say.

Comedian Jimmy Carr, presenter Jonathan Ross, and Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley were reportedly paid for their appearance on the game show.

The celebrity specials see the contestants go head-to-head in an effort to garner prize money to donate to their chosen charities.

Other celebrities that have reportedly been paid out to appear on the show include Linda Robson, Fay Ripley, and Ellie Simmonds.

If the show has 3 celebs paid upto £15,000 and the charity wins £10,000 then who comes out best ? The show is a charity funnel claiming to help charitie but are limiting the prizes awarded to lower the rate of money handed over.

Think about it, why dont ITV just donate £15,000 a week to charity ?
